Day 1: Homes- Hilo (ITO)

 

Tour guide will pick you up from the Hilo Airport and transfer you to your Hilo hotel. (Add-on option: Maunakea Stargazing Tour available for flights arriving before 3 p.m., starting at $185 per person)

 

Day 2: Rainbow Falls-Black Sand Beach-Volcanoes National Park-Thurston Lava Cave

 

Pick up from Hilo airport or hotel, heading to the charming Liliuokalani Japanese Garden which is the largest Japanese-style garden overseas. Then go to Hilo Bayfront Beach Park which is also known as Crescent Bay and it is one of the most beautiful coastal scenery. later visiting Rainbow Waterfalls, which is named for the rainbow formed by the surrounding mist reflected by sunlight.

 

Then visit the Big Island Candies factory, try the unique Hawaiian favor cookies and Kona Coffee. After lunch, going to Volcanoes National Park to get a close look at the Kilauea crater, which is currently the most active volcano in the world, and then visit the geothermal steam vents, Thurston Lava Tube and then go to the Chain of Craters Road, to see the spectacular scenic of the solidified black lava. You will surely marvel at the Creator's miraculous creation and the powerful of nature! Then back to hotel or Hilo Airport in the evening.

Day 3: Akaka Falls-Magma Tree State Park-Farmer's Market-Magma Freshman

 

We pick you up from the hotel in the morning to Akaka Falls State Park, visit the tropical rainforest park, and enjoy the 135-meter-high Akaka Falls. Hiking in the lush tropical rainforest trails, admiring the orchids, bamboo forests, and overhanging ferns on both sides; along the road, birds and flowers, small bridges and flowing water, the air is full of Fenduo essence, like entering a paradise. Then go to Farmer's Market for seasonal tropical fruits.

 

After lunch, visiting Lava Tree State Park, where the park retains the Lava trees that formed when the Lava flows that erupted during the 16th and 17th centuries covered the trees in this forested area. Then visit the newborn land which was formed by the eruption of Kilauea volcano in 2018. Later transfer to Hilo Airport or hotel in the evening.
